several people were still against abortion.
With all of the struggles and problems that women had they were finally starting to relax and enjoy themselves. Now that they finally won the rights and were able to have a job they couldn't be more thrilled. An article states "According to the 1930 census almost eleven million women, or 24.3 percent of all women in the country, were gainfully employed"1930's Lifestyles and Social Trends. N.p., n.d. Web. 2 Jan. 2013. <http://www.enotes.com/1930-lifestyles-social-trends-american-decades/working-women>. Women loved being able to prove to men, but also themselves, that they were able to successfully gain the rights that they deserved.
One women who once struggled was now able to get her point across and is now handling things much better. This women's name was Margaret Sanger. She precviously was sent to jail because of her choice and ways of having an abortion in the clinic that she created. Margaret was now successful and had won the support of many people, including doctors. She opened another clinic for all women. Doctors were still concerned with this but they would rather have it be done in a clinic instead of women doing it themselves so they allowed it, but also questioned it. Margaret was an inspiration to women just because of how she won and was able to make her statement about something she thought was a good thing. Even men began to respect her for that.
